Anthony Rizzo does his best Selena Gomez impression, with the help of Kris Bryant

Anthony Rizzo is an All-Star baseball player and World Series champion, but he put his vocal cords to work during Monday’s Cubs-Angels matchup.

ESPN mic’d up Rizzo for the game, and he gave his best Selena Gomez impression in the sixth inning. The first baseman sang a short rendition of Gomez’ “Lose You to Love Me.”

“[A song] I’ve been jamming to a lot is the Selena Gomez song,” Rizzo said to Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant and ESPN broadcasters Jon Sciambi and Jessica Mendoza. “I don’t know the lyrics, but is it to lose love, or love love?”

Bryant tried to answer that question, but Rizzo broke into song before he could get the chance.

Rizzo: “To love love, to love love, to love. I needed to lose you to find me.”

Bryant, correcting Rizzo: “Lose you to love me.”

Rizzo: “Is that what it is?”

Bryant: “I think those are the lyrics.”

Rizzo admitted his wife, Emily, gets on his case for not knowing the lyrics of songs and improvising what he thinks they are.

“I’ll sing, but I don’t know any of the lyrics,” he said. “I’ll just sing what I think the lyrics are.

Never change, Rizz
