Cubs' ‘Space Jam' themed road trip is out of this world

Cubs’ Kris Bryant started off the season strong but once June started he seemed to have lost his rhythm. After the game, David Ross talked about how he predicted Bryant would have a breakout game.

Cubs themed road trips are back, and, fittingly, they've gone Hollywood.

Headed to Los Angeles for a four-game series with the Dodgers, the Cubs dressed for the occasion, rocking "Space Jam" themed attire on their flight early Wednesday morning.

Cubs manager David Ross, no stranger to themed road trips after playing under Joe Maddon from 2015-16, also got in on the fun.

"Space Jam 2" is set to hit theaters next month.

"We've got some good swag that they gave us," Ross said after the Cubs' 7-1 win over Cleveland. "We're going to light up the plane with some loud colors."

From the vibrant-colored attire to full on Tune Squad uniforms, the results didn't disappoint.
