Jake Arrieta kept his promise and followed through with a bet against Cubs teammate Tommy La Stella.
The two players bet on their alma maters squaring off in the College World Series with La Stella's Coastal Carolina taking down Arrieta's TCU.

Arrieta Tweeted a photo Friday afternoon of a CCU tattoo:
Of course, we don't know for sure that this tattoo is on Arrieta himself and we also have no idea what part of the body this is inked (though we already know he's not shy about baring it all in public), but we'll take him as his Tweet word.
Or maybe Arrieta got the tat on his newly-shaven neck and now plans to cover it up with his standard in-season beard? That would be ingenious.

As part of the bet, La Stella was supposed to dress up as TCU's mascot, Super Frog, since Coastal Carolina did lose a game, but maybe he and Arrieta didn't make that incident public.
Even though the color doesn't match, if anybody asks, Arrieta could always say CCU stands for "Chicago Cubs University" or something silly like that. At least the "'16 Champs" would still make sense.
