Tim Anderson wants a World Series ring

Yes, we know it’s just Summer Camp, but Tim Anderson is locked in. He ripped this homer to left off Carlos Rodon in intrasquad action on Thursday night.

The White Sox are in a tight three-team race for the AL Central crown, and players are racking up individual accolades.

Luis Robert won A.L. Rookie of the Month for August. José Abreu won A.L. Player of the Month for August.

Shortstop Tim Anderson is in the hunt for another batting title, his /347 batting average is third in the A.L. at the moment.

But Anderson doesn't want individual accolades.

"I definitely want something bigger than the batting title, I want something I can share with everybody... and that's the ring," Anderson said.

"Hopefully we can continue to keep fighting and pushing and see what happens."

Chills.

A 1-2 series against the Twins has slowed down the Sox momentum. They were 11-2, including Lucas Giolito's no-hitter, heading into that series.
