White Sox hitters set another home run record

The White Sox made MLB history hitting back-to-back leadoff home runs off the same pitcher twice in the same season (@StatsByStats). Matthew Boyd was the unfortunate pitcher who allowed all four home runs hit by Tim Anderson (2), Eloy Jimenez and Yoan Mon

Tim Anderson and Yoan Moncada hit back-to-back bombs off of Detroit Tigers starter Matt Boyd to start Monday night’s game. Before you ask, no, this isn’t a rerun from last Wednesday's game. Anderson and Moncada did it again, marking MLB history.

Things got even crazier, however, when Anderson hit **another** homer in the second inning.

This is becoming a bit old-hat for the Sox, who tied their own MLB record for hitting back-to-back-to-back-to-back homers on Sunday.

So what’s next? Nine straight strikeouts to start a game from Dylan Cease on Tuesday?
