Bulls play-by-play announcer Neil Funk cut back his game schedule last season and is doing the same this year, which is his last before retirement.

On Tuesday, the Bulls announced the announcers that will be filling in for him in November and December. All of the open games are on the road. More replacements will be announced as games in 2020 get closer.

For starters, Jason Benetti kicks things off Wednesday in Atlanta. Benetti, the White Sox play-by-play announcer who also does college football games for ESPN, is scheduled for two more games in December.

Lisa Byington, JB Long, Adam Amin and Mark Schanowski are also filling in. All four broadcast Bulls games last season.

Schanowski is an NBC Sports Chicago contributor and is working as an expert analyst for Windy City Bulls home games.

Byington is a Northwestern product who has experience announcing a variety of sports, including Chicago Sky games.

Amin is from suburban Addison and has announced men’s and women’s college basketball games as well as the NBA.
