Zach LaVine is one of the most electrifying dunkers in NBA history. The two-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest Champion was warming up at the Bulls' practice facility this week and threw down some absolutely absurd jams in front of some very, very lucky viewers.
The incredible array of dunks that LaVine showcased led to, of course, much speculation that he would make a surprise appearance in the dunk contest but with nothing of that nature being confirmed, we can only hope. His teammate Wendell Carter Jr. certainly hopes so too, stating, "I hope so, he should...But as everyone saw, he's not in it. But he got some tricks in the bag, I've seen him dunk in practice, it's crazy. Hopefully he makes a surprise appearance for that."
LaVine missed his incredible free-throw line, 360 dunk in Chicago this week but many have forgotten that he has in fact made that exact dunk before. WJTV 12 News Producer Bryan Crawford shared a video on Twitter of LaVine's 360, free throw line dunk from 2016. This dunk was from a Minnesota Timberwolves practice in New Orleans, and Andrew Wiggins—now a Golden State Warrior—captured the awesome dunk on his Snapchat feed:
