Bulls Training Camp Tracker: Bulls add Justin Simon, Perrion Callandret, Milton Doyle

The Bulls are gearing up for the start of training camp on October 1 and in preparation, they have started to add intriguing prospects and veteran players who could either make the team or end up playing with the Windy City Bulls in the G League. We will be keeping track of all the additions and cuts as we get closer to the regular season. 

Bulls add Justin Simon on Exhibit 10 contract- September 12

The Bulls made their first training camp depth move in early September when they brought in undrafted guard Justin Simon out of St. John's.

Simon was the 2018-19 Big East Defensive Player of the Year and is sure to be an effective option when Jim Boylen is looking for players to bring the best out of incredibly speedy scorers like Zach LaVine and Coby White. 

Windy City Bulls acquire Chicago native, Loyola product Milton Doyle

The Windy City Bulls traded for the rights to Milton Doyle, who is a Chicago native and played his college ball at Loyola after transferring over from Kansas. Doyle was the first player in Loyola history to make the All-Missouri Valley Team. He also was the Freshman and Newcomer of the Year in 2014. hitting the ground running after a solid high school career at Marshall. 

Doyle played the 2017-18 G League season with the Long Island Nets, averaging 20.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in 35.4 minutes per game. Doyle was an aggressive perimeter scorer, shooting 8.9 3-point attempts per game on 37.1% from 3-point range. 

Bulls add former McDonald's All-American Simisola Shittu on training camp deal 

The Bulls agreed to a training camp deal with Simisola Shittu, who is likely to play out the 2019-20 season with the Windy City Bulls.

Bulls add Perrion Callandret, who played with their Summer League team 

The Bulls officially signed Perrion Callandret, who was not only a high school teammate of Zach LaVine but played with the Bulls Summer League team, averaging 2.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game on 60.0% shooting from the field. While adding Callandret, the Bulls also finalized their deals with Doyle and Simon, bringing their training camp roster to 19.
