Former Bears offensive coordinator Aaron Kromer will miss the first six games of the upcoming NFL season, the Buffalo Bills announced late Sunday.
Kromer, the offensive line coach for the Bills, has been suspended by the team for his July incident involving his neighbor's son.

Here's the statement by the Bills:
Kromer was arrested for battery last month for having a physical altercation with his neighbor's son. Kromer and his son pleaded not guilty to the charges.
On Friday, charges were dropped after the boys' parents stated in a press release from the Florida state's attorney office that the injuries sustained were minor and that "they desired that the lives of their children not be further disrupted."

An "amicable resolution" was agreed upon between both parties.
