On the same night Comcast SportsNet showed the replay of Philip Humber's perfect game from April, the White Sox right-hander threw a rehab start with Double-A Birmingham.
According to Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune, Humber threw six innings, allowing just two hits. He actually retired the final 16 batters, as well.
This was Humber's third rehab start -- he had two outings with Triple-A Charlotte before Thursday's start. He has been on the disabled list since mid-June with a right elbow injury.
