Michigan has hired a throwback head coach, and now it appears the Wolverines will sport a throwback look during road games this season.
Twitter was set ablaze Saturday when Rivals' Chris Balas tweeted out a picture of some retro jerseys, reporting that Michigan — per the request of new head coach Jim Harbaugh — will wear these 1974 duds on the road, later adding the Wolverines will don this look for each and every road game this year.

Adding fuel to this discussion was a Saturday-night tweet from Michigan's recruiting coordinator depicting the retro unis.
While Michigan hasn't announced this, that's some pretty convincing Twitter evidence.
The Wolverines, under Bo Schemberchler, went 10-1 and were co-champions of the Big Ten in 1974. A member of that team? Current interim athletics director Jim Hackett. An assistant coach on that team? Harbaugh's dad, Jack.

It's a sharp look, for sure, and a cool way to reconnect to the past. Nice work, Harbaugh.
