Josh Vitters had another big day for the Sox but it wasnt enough as they dropped an 8-7 decision to visiting Surprise.
Vitters, a former top pick by the Cubs, had a pair of hits and drove in two runs. He has seven RBIs through the first three games of the AFL season. Fellow Cub DJ LeMahieu added a hit and scored a run.White Sox prospect Tyler Saladino was 0-for-2 with a pair of walks and a run scored.

In other action, the United States upended Greece, 3-0, at Ramon Cantera Stadium in Wednesday afternoons IBAF World Cup contest in Aguadulce City, Panama. Outfielder Jordan Danks and infielder Andrew Garcia, both of whom are White Sox prospects, each had a hit for Team USA. Danks also drew a walk.
