Maybe the Bears plan on using Foles in a closer role each week. Have to think most likely that Trubisky will have a small margin for error. Probably easier to go from him to Foles than the other way around.

Here’s the thing about the Nick Foles trade:

You knew you were going to start Trubisky regardless barring catastrophe. Because if that happened with their hand picked guy, then obviously it would’ve happened with a street free agent like Cam Newton
