Aaron Rodgers leaves with injury in first half against Bears

The first half of the Bears season opener has been better than expected for the Bears and a nightmare for the Packers.

The Bears' defense looked solid on its first drive against Aaron Rodgers and then Mitchell Trubisky ran for a two-yard touchdown on the Bears' first drive. Things went from bad to potentially devastating for the Packers later in the first half when Aaron Rodgers left with an apparent knee injury.

Rodgers was sacked by Roy Robertson-Harris and his left knee appeared to buckle in the aftermath of the play. He walked off on his own power, but was taken to the medical tent on the field and later carted to the locker room without his helmet.

DeShone Kizer replaced Rodgers and finished the half. The Bears took a 17-0 lead into the locker room.

Rodgers returned to start the third quarter.
