Justin Fields is going to be ok. When meeting with the media on Monday, Matt Nagy said that the Bears rookie quarterback is dealing with a “left hand contusion,” which is really just a fancy way of saying he’s got a bruise.
“I feel like he should be good,” Nagy said.
Fields said after the game that his hand was swelling a bit, which led the team to take x-rays to ensure he hadn’t seriously hurt it. It’s also worth noting that the left hand is Fields’ non-throwing hand.
