Bears don't learn: Miller ejected after punching Gardner-Johnson

Matt Nagy told the media that the Bears looked specifically at how a certain player acts during games to prepare the Bears.

Bears receivers apparently did not learn their lesson from the regular season matchup against the Saints. In the third quarter of the Wild Card game on Sunday, Anthony Miller was ejected after punching C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

Gardner-Johnson baited Javon Wims into throwing a punch when Chicago and New Orleans squared off in Week 8. That led to a pivotal penalty in the Bears’ overtime loss.

Before the punch, Miller put together a disappointing season in 2020, only catching 49 balls for 485 yards and two touchdowns.
