The Bears and RB Tarik Cohen agreed on a 3-year/$17.25M extension Saturday, and the versatile speedster will now be in Chicago through the 2023 season, his agent told reporters.

Bears running back, slash dangerous with the ball in open field playmaker, Tarik Cohen is out for the year.

Head coach Matt Nagy told media after the Bears' big comeback win against the Falcons that Cohen has a torn ACL.

That means Cohen is done for the year, and it's a big hit to the Bears' offense.

The Bears use David Montgomery as their primary running back and have used wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson in the run game as well. The Bears also have Ryan Nall on the roster.

It's a big loss.

More to come.
