Brace yourselves, Bears fans. We've entered Kicker Crisis 2.0.
In Sunday night's first quarter against the Rams, kicker Eddy Pineiro whiffed on two attempts (47 and 48 yards) after the Bears moved the ball well on offense on their first few possessions of the game.
Pineiro is now 12-of-17 on the season and losing confidence quickly. Matt Nagy appears to be losing confidence too; he passed on a 49-yard attempt after Pineiro's first miss, opting to go for it on 4th and 9. Not good.

The Rams, of course, took advantage of their first field-goal opportunity after a strong series by running back Todd Gurley that lasted into the early portion of the second quarter.
