Through two weeks of the NFL season, the Atlanta Falcons rank 5th in points scored with 64, however, the Falcons also rank last in the NFL in points allowed with 78 points given up.

Atlanta Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell will not play Sunday against the Bears after he tested positive for COVID-19 and was placed on the NFL's reserve/COVID-19 list. He'll be the first NFL player to miss a game due to a positive COVID-19 test this year.

So far, no other Falcons players have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Tier 1 and Tier 2 players, coaches and staff are tested every morning, with the results being returned within 24 hours. We'll know Sunday morning if any other Falcons players or staff contracted COVID-19.

If there are additional positive cases, it'll be the first test for the NFL's protocol on allowing games to be played amid a coronavirus outbreak in a team facility.

Terrell was tested Friday morning and practiced later that day (he was not on the Falcons' injury report). The team received his positive test result Saturday.
