Former Bear Kyle Long relishes retirement, goes off-roading through desert

You know how some people worry that they’ll be bored after they retire — that after years and years of working, they won’t know what to do with themselves once they have all that free time?

Kyle Long is certainly not one of those people.

After playing in the NFL with the Bears for seven years, many of those seasons spent struggling with injury, Long has officially retired from professional football and seems to be loving life. He has been keeping busy playing video games on streams, travelling and of course, tweeting.

Today, Long shared his most recent retirement adventure, off-roading in the desert south of Las Vegas. After playing at guard and OT for the Bears, Long knows how to handle himself when things get rough and this off-road course is no exception. In the video Long shared on Twitter, which he captioned #Retirement, he rides shotgun as his driver takes their vehicle over several jumps and bumps on the track. The dust is flying! The heavy metal music is blaring in the background! #Retirement, more like #RetirementGoals.
