The reported numbers of the Bears' record-setting deal with Khalil Mack are eye-popping

The Bears' deal with Khalil Mack is still coming to fruition, but the numbers of the record-setting deal between the two parties are reportedly out.

It had already been reported that the contract extension the two parties were working on would be a record-setting deal, but ESPN's Adam Schefter got the numbers behind the mega-deal.

It's mentioned in the tweet, but it's worth repeating: The $141 million deal is the most for a defensive player in NFL history. On Friday, Aaron Donald signed a deal with the Los Angeles Rams worth $135 million over six years, including $87 million guaranteed. Mack just edged Donald in both categories.

Now Mack has to produce like the best defensive player in the NFL.
