Blackhawks injury updates on Robin Lehner and three others

Coach Jeremy Colliton provided updates on a handful of players before the Blackhawks depart for Europe on Thursday and it's all positive news:

— Robin Lehner left practice early on Tuesday and did not participate in morning skate on Wednesday. The team announced it's a hip injury and Colliton said "it should be no problem." The Blackhawks will carry three goaltenders overseas (Corey Crawford, Collin Delia and Lehner).

— Connor Murphy left morning skate on Wednesday with an undisclosed injury, but it stemmed from something that happened Tuesday in practice. "They were just messing around there and he had a twinge, and then wasn't great this morning," Colliton said. "He wasn't going to play anyway, so we don't really lose anything there but hopefully with a few days rest, we'll see."

— Zack Smith did not practice on Wednesday because of a lower back injury. It's not believed to be serious. "He wasn't going to play and he's not feeling 100 [percent] this morning so a couple days [off] and we'll see how it goes," Colliton said.

— Calvin de Haan, who's recovering from a groin injury, had a scheduled day off on Wednesday. It's unclear whether he'll play in any of the two games overseas. "There's no day," Colliton said. "Obviously the fact he's practicing with us, it's great. He had the day off today, it's an opportunity to get us two days off in a row, which I think is a positive sometimes — you get a little extra rest and then you can take another step. He's on schedule. If he doesn't play the first game, he shouldn't be too far away."
