On Monday, the NHL announced the results from its latest round of COVID-19 tests. From Week 4 of the NHL's Stanley Cup Playoffs and 24-team postseason — Aug. 16-22 — there were again no positive tests.
Testing was done on a daily basis to members of the remaining teams' 52-person travelling parties, including the players, amounting to 4,644 tests.
The last positive tests out of the NHL came during Phase 3 training camp ahead of the postseason, when two players tested positive from July 13-17. There have been zero positive tests during the playoffs in bubble cities Edmonton and Toronto.
