Blackhawks to appear on national TV nine times in 2021-22


The Blackhawks will appear on national television nine times during the 2021-22 season, the NHL announced Thursday.

Five of the nine games will be broadcast on TNT and the other four will air on ESPN/ABC. In addition, ESPN will stream four out-of-market Blackhawks games exclusively on ESPN+ and Hulu.

Here's a look at the Blackhawks' full national television schedule (all times Central):

  • Oct. 13 at Colorado (9 p.m.) — TNT
  • Oct. 19 vs. N.Y. Islanders (7 p.m.) — ESPN
  • Nov. 17 at Seattle (9 p.m.) — TNT
  • Nov. 26 vs. St. Louis (12 p.m.) — ABC
  • Jan. 26 at Detroit (6:30 p.m.) — TNT
  • Feb. 2 vs. Minnesota (8:30 p.m.) — TNT
  • March 5 at Philadelphia (2 p.m.) — ABC
  • March 23 at Anaheim (9 p.m.) — TNT
  • March 26 at Vegas (2 p.m.) — ABC

And the four additional games on ESPN+ and Hulu:

  • Nov. 12 vs. Arizona (7:30 p.m.)
  • Jan. 4 vs. Colorado (7:30 p.m.)
  • March 24 at Los Angeles (9 p.m.)
  • April 25 vs. Philadelphia (7 p.m.)

The Blackhawks will be one of the most interesting teams to watch this season, with the acquisitions of Vezina Trophy winner Marc-Andre Fleury and All-Star defenseman Seth Jones, the anticipated return of captain Jonathan Toews and a roster that features two of the league's top scorers in Alex DeBrincat and Patrick Kane.
