LOS ANGELES — Corey Crawford will start in goal for the Blackhawks when they take on the Los Angeles Kings at Staples Center on Saturday, head coach Jeremy Colliton confirmed after morning skate. This will be his sixth start of the season and first in a week.
Crawford is 1-4-0 with a 3.67 goals-against average and .888 save percentage this season. He's coming off an outing in which he allowed four goals on 31 shots (.871 save percentage) in a 4-0 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes last Saturday.
In 27 career appearances against the Kings, Crawford is 9-6-3 with a 2.74 goals-against average, .903 save percentage and one shutout.
