Report: Brandon Saad receiving interest from multiple teams

Lukas Reichel speaks on who his game style resembles, his favorite player and team growing up and what his goals are on his path to the NHL.

Blackhawks forward Brandon Saad has been one of the most consistent players on the Hawks the past couple seasons. Unfortunately for Saad, the results haven't always shown that.

Saad finished the 2019-20 season with 33 points (21 goals, 12 assists) in 58 regular season contests and five points (two goals, three assists) in nine playoff games.

The 27-year-old two-time Stanley Cup champion winger carries a $6 million cap hit with a year left on his contract.

The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun reported clubs such as the Boston Bruins and Colorado Avalanche are inquiring about Saad. LeBrun said a potential reason for interest in Saad is that players having one year left on a contract are more appealing now due to some teams' concern with their cap situations down the road.
