Postseason results: Won Class 2A state championship for third consecutive season.
Players to watch: Senior Demarius Splunge has been with the varsity the last few years as this could be a breakout year for the athletic 6-foot-6 forward. Seniors Shaun Harris and Tyler Bullock both played 30-plus games each in the Orr backcourt rotation last season. St. Joseph transfer Reggie Strong should give Orr another proven scorer at guard.
Why they're in the power rankings: The state's best Class 2A program, head coach Lou Adams doesn't have a lot of proven star power this season. But multiple seniors are ready to step up and Orr's still looking like the team to beat in Class 2A this season.
Did you know? Orr was one of the most dominant programs in the state this past decade. The Spartans claimed three straight Class 2A titles and also went to Peoria two other times (2013, 2014) to make it five trips in the past seven years.
