A potential option for the Chicago White Sox is apparently off the table, as Washington Nationals President of Baseball Operations Mike Rizzo is expected to remain with the club.

While some in the baseball world believe that the Chicago White Sox will promote from within for their vacant jobs atop the baseball operations department, another name is being floated as a contender.

White Sox manager Pedro Grifol says he has had discussions with owner Jerry Reinsdorf about the direction of the team, but the recent roster changes and firings do not constitute a rebuild because there is still too much talent here
