Report: White Sox showing interest in Royals OF Alex Gordon

White Sox GM Rick Hahn has refused to tap out of the MLB hot stove just yet.

But will he make another big splash or try to keep the payroll close to where it currently is?

According to Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal, Hahn is still thinking big.

Rosenthal reported on Tuesday that the White Sox are among a list of teams that are showing interest in Royals outfielder Alex Gordon.

Gordon will be 32 at the start of next season and hit .271 with 13 home runs and 48 RBI last year. Gordon missed almost two months of action this year with a groin injury. He's won four Gold Gloves during his nine-year career in Kansas City.

If the White Sox did go after Gordon, not only would the team have to give up a draft pick but Rosenthal speculates the team would need to move some salary.
