Most drafts are loaded with talent at the shooting guard and small forward positions, but that’s just not the case this year. Many of the top prospects at those positions have obvious holes in their games, and it’s hard to predict that any of them will become true stars in the league.
Georgia’s Anthony Edwards began the season as the likely top pick in the 2020 draft, (and he still might be), but erratic shooting and poor decision-making have some scouts a little uneasy about what his ceiling might be. Will Edwards develop into a big-time scorer like James Harden or Bradley Beal, or will he become the next Andrew Wiggins, a player loaded with physical talent, but short on intangibles?
