Nathan Enderle wasn't out of a job for long. After the Bears waived their 2011 rookie quarterback last week, the Jacksonville Jaguars signed him Thursday.
The Bears used the 29th pick of the fifth round to select Enderle out of Idaho and he did not appear in a regular season game last season. After Jay Cutler went down and Caleb Hanie struggled, they chose to sign Josh McCown instead of letting Enderle play one of the final games.
In Jacksonville, Enderle will again be trying to land the third QB spot on the roster behind Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne. He'll battle with Jordan Palmer for the position.
