NEW YORK (AP)Nets part-owner Jay-Z will open the teams new Brooklyn arena by performing there next September.
The hip-hop mogul said at a news conference Monday across the street from the construction site that he will perform one, two, maybe three times at the Barclays Center. Dates havent been set.

Jay-Z also made it official that the club will be called the Brooklyn Nets. The franchise is scheduled to move from New Jersey for the 2012-13 season.
