COLUMBUS, OhioJonathan Toews skated back in Chicago today, the first time hes taken the ice in more than a week. It was a good sign for the Blackhawks captain, who has been out for more than a month with a concussion.
Its always good to see him on the ice, yeah, coach Joel Quenneville said after the Blackhawks 5-1 victory over Columbus. Hes progressing here, but well know more tomorrow.
Obviously, there is still no definite timetable for Toews return. He had skated four consecutive days more than a week ago before apparently suffering a setback. Meanwhile, the Blackhawks have found ways to win, going 9-4-1 in his absence.

It says a lot about our team; guys have stepped up, Duncan Keith said of the Blackhawks performances sans Toews. Well be excited when Jonathan comes back. Were just going to keep on playing one game at a time and trying to get better.
