Adam Shaheen won't play against the Lions. The Bears announced their weekly inactives earlier this morning:

Shaheen had not showed up on any injury report this week, which makes the move a bit of a surprise. The third-year tight end hasn't been productive so far, catching nine balls for 74 yards all season. He and fellow starter Trey Burton were supposed to be a large component of Nagy's offense, but that just hasn't been the case.
Outside of the Shaheen news, there aren't too many surprises on this week's list. Defensive tackle Eddie Goldman, who was questionable all week with a thigh injury he picked up against the Eagles, will play – a good sign for a Bears' defensive front that's struggled in the absence of Akiem Hicks.
