As has been the case in most mocks across the internet, Maccabi Tel Aviv forward Deni Avdija finds himself the favorite with 2-1 odds (bet $10 to win $20). A multi-skilled forward, Avdija would bring plus playmaking, versatility and team defense to a Bulls team in need of depth and talent on the wing.
High-flying Obi Toppin, who swept national player of the year awards for Dayton last season, checks in second at 3-1, followed by James Wiseman (6-1), Killian Hayes, Isaac Okoro and Tyrese Haliburton (all 10-1).
Notably, LaMelo Ball and Anthony Edwards each own 12-1 odds of being plucked by the Bulls. Their longer chances can likely be attributed to their projected draft position. Though this is a class that lacks consensus, Ball and Edwards are thought of as top three prospects by many — including PointsBet, who as of this writing slots Edwards (-200) and Ball (+185) as the two favorites to go No. 1 overall. Wiseman (+450) and Avdija (+1800) round out the top four in that category.
