Charles Tillman was named the NFL defensive player of the month for October, as the league recognized the Bears cornerback's outstanding performance to help his team to a 4-0 record in the month.
Tillman scored in consecutive games, intercepting passes for touchdowns against Dallas (25 yards) and Jacksonville (36 yards). He also held star Lions receiver Calvin Johnson to just three catches for 34 yards, his lowest output of the season.
A Bears cornerback has now won both of the NFL's defensive player of the month awards, as Tim Jennings took home the honor for September.
