The Bears were riddled with injuries heading into the bye week, and it looks like they've been dealt a blow coming out of it as well.
Bears safety and defensive leader Eddie Jackson has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Jackson could still be cleared to play against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football, based on the five-day minimum and testing.
Bears offensive lineman Germain Ifedi was place on the reserve/COVID-19 list and came off it between Sunday games earlier this season.
Jackson was placed on the list "due to a close contact from a person away from the team facility," per our own Adam Hoge.

So it's not too dire yet, if Jackson could not play however, it'd obviously be a huge hit to a defensive unit that was very much keeping the Bears' 2020 season alive.
Especially given the uncertainty at quarterback and whether either Nick Foles or Mitch Trubisky will be healthy.
