Things got spicy at the end of the first round on Thursday night, when the Packers drafted quarterback Jordan Love out of Utah State. Not only that, but they *traded up* to take quarterback Jordan Love out of Utah State. And they employ Aaron Rodgers! For quite a bit of money! If it seems similar to the way they drafted Aaron Rodgers with Brett Favre on the roster, you're not wrong:

Spooky! Just in case you were wondering, Aaron Rodgers still has four years left on his contract, with a total cap hit of 124 MILLION DOLLARS over that time. One hundred and twenty-four million dollars. It should be noted that there's a potential contractual out after 2022, but the Packers are still on the hook for an ungodly amount of money to a quarterback who seems to officially be on borrowed time. Almost makes a Mitch Trubisky-Nick Foles QB battle seem not so bad. Almost.
