The Bears could almost do no wrong in their blowout win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. The offense was nearly unstoppable to the tune of 48 points, while Vic Fangio’s defense continued its reign of terror with another lights-out performance.

Chicago received no shortage of praise for their Week 4 victory, and the Pro Football Grades match up with the eye test. Mitchell Trubisky and Taylor Gabriel were the team’s highest-graded players on offense, while Khalil Mack unsurprisingly took the crown on defense.

Even with a career-high 93.7 overall grade, Trubisky still finished second at his position this week behind Jared Goff of the Los Angeles Rams, who threw for a perfect 158.3 passer rating on Thursday night.

Gabriel was edged out for the top spot, too, by Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate, who had one more catch and 28 more yards than the Bears’ speedster.

Mack was PFF’s highest-graded edge defender in Week 4, with one sack, three quarterback hurries and a forced fumble.

It was a strong all-around performance for the Bears heading into the bye week, showing themselves and the rest of the NFL what they’re capable of moving forward.
