Nagy dismisses rumors of Quinn foot issue

Despite the recent rumors that have popped up, the Bears are insisting that Robert Quinn is healthy.

Speculation about Quinn's condition began when the Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs reported that two separate sources had speculated that the Bears' pass-rusher was dealing with a nerve issue in his foot. In the report, Biggs wrote that "Another source said Quinn told teammates that he was battling drop foot, which is defined as difficulty raising the front part of the foot and can be caused by a nerve issue."

When asked of Quinn was perhaps silently suffering from any underlying issues, Matt Nagy adamantly denied it, saying "[Quinn's] been healthy and he's rolling."

"I love Robert Quinn's attitude and where he's at," he added. "He's always funny. I always ask him, 'How you doing today?' He always in that country voice says, 'I'm doing good. I got to open my eyes.' That's just who he is. He's playing hard. No one's working harder than Robert Quinn right now to have more production.

"We know that everyone's talking about the sacks or what he's getting and not getting, but he's going out there and he's playing hard every single play. You look at the pressures that he's having and he missed that one sack the other day but he's playing hard, man, and it's gonna turn for him. I'm really glad that he's playing as hard as he is and I think this thing will turn."

So there you have it! One very-plugged-in reporter suggests Quinn may be dealing with a foot issue and Quinn's coach says he is not. CHOOSE YOUR FIGHTER.
