School: Plano Reapers
Head coach: Brad Kunz
Assistant coaches: Matt Kee (DC), Boone Thorgesen (OC), Kyle Kee (STC), Dwayne Love (OL/DL), Nick Slack (Var. Assistant), Assistants: Chris Waca, Steve Hild, Ty Staton, Will Brown, Rob Wegley, John Chernick
How they fared in 2015: 8-3 (4-1) Interstate 8 Large. The Reapers made the 2015 Class 4A state playoff field. The Reapers defeated Ridgewood before losing to Marengo in second round action.
Biggest storyline in 2016: Can the Reapers make a deep state playoff run in 2016?
Names to watch this season: QB Tyler Ward, RB Jay Winter, WR Israel Adeoti
Biggest holes to fill: Not many since Plano welcomes back 18 starters from the 2015 season. Depth is always an issue at the 4A level especially upfront on both the offensive and defensive lines.
EDGY's Early Take: Plano looks to have a lot in place for another strong season. QB Tyler Ward has weapons to use and with a few breaks this team should be a Top 5-10 ranked team in 4A state-wide this season.
