Michael Jordan won 10 scoring titles during his illustrious career, and it all began in 1987 with the highest single-season scoring output. Jordan appeared in all 82 games, and he was only held under 30 points 15 times. He scored between 30 and 39 points 30 times, 40 and 49 points 29 times and scored 50 or more eight times. The scoring total (37.1) was the highest since Wilt Chamberlain in 1964 and is still the fifth best in NBA history. The closest anyone has gotten since was Kobe Bryant’s 35.4 points per game in 2006.
