According to reports, NBA player agents and team executives have privately discussed just how difficult an official return to action would be, with support growing to cancel the 2019-20 season. Well, don't count LeBron James as part of that group.
James puts safety first but appears to be in the camp that would definitely finish the 2019-20 season in some capacity when health officials give the OK, stating:
"As soon as it’s safe we would like to finish our season. I’m ready and our team is ready. Nobody should be canceling anything."

The 2019-20 NBA season was originally suspended on March 11 after the first positive Covid-19 test by a player. League commissioner Adam Silver has said in recent updates there is still much uncertainty surrounding the situation and that the league still doesn't "have enough information to make a decision.”
