Madden 21 sim: Falcons fend off Bears' comeback bid

Share

Madden is 0-2 as we enter Week 3 of our Madden '21 simulations, predicting losses against the Lions and Giants that the real-life Bears were able to disprove. This game in Atlanta was pretty uneventful for the first three quarters, with the only scoring coming off of three Falcons field goals.

Things picked up in the final quarter. On their opening drive of the fourth, the Bears finally got on the board with a Jimmy Graham touchdown, pulling them within two points of the Falcons. Graham had himself a big game, with eight receptions for 84 yards and a score.

The Falcons answered on the following drive, with Matt Ryan finding Julio Jones in the end zone to give Atlanta a 16-7 lead with under five minutes to go.

But fourth-quarter Mitch did his thing, and with less than a minute to go, Trubisky hit Javon Wims for his second touchdown of the game, pulling the Bears within two points of the Falcons. However, the Bears were not able to get the ball back, and the Falcons won the game by a final score of 16-14.

Fingers crossed that Madden will be wrong once again this week.
