Bulls throwback to Jordan years with new black pinstripe jerseys

The Bulls unveiled a new alternate jersey for the upcoming season, and longtime fans of the organization will recognize it has roots in the team’s past.

The Statement Edition jerseys are bringing the black pinstripe look back to the Bulls. The Bulls first introduced black jerseys with pinstripes in the 72 win championship season of 1995-96.

There’s a couple notable differences from the Jordan-era pinstripes. For one, the new jerseys will read Chicago on the front as opposed to Bulls. The collar is also all red instead of the Jordan-era red and white.

The Bulls plan to wear these jerseys for six home games: Nov 22 vs. Miami, Dec. 6 vs. Golden State, Jan 10 vs. Indiana, Feb. 22 vs. Phoenix, March 6 vs. Indiana and April 11 vs. Brooklyn.
